Our winter home in Arizona
We purchased this lot in Tucson for a winter home in 2010 and construction was completed in
December, 2011. The property is in the "The Foothills" development which is located on the
west side of the Tucson Mountains. The area is close to a large state park and the Saguaro
National Park (West). There are many hiking trails in the area and the Kitt Peak National
Observatoy is only about an hour drive to the west. Because of the observatory, light
pollution is minimal and the night skies are close to what we had in Las Cruces.
