Washington, August 2007
We spent a month in Anacortes, our hometown from 2001-2004. It is a great place in the summer and we
wanted to experience Anacortes at its best weather-wise, and also visit friends and family. George's sister
Carol and our daughter Christine and her family live in Seattle, just 90 miles to the south of Anacortes.
Although the weather was a bit colder than normal for August, we had a wonderful time visiting everyone,
hiking, and enjoying the local seafood. If it looks like all we did was eat, that is close to the truth!
