Utah, September 2007
After leaving Anacortes, we headed southeast toward the Four Corners area of Utah.  On the way we
stopped to visit our friends Richard and Barbara in Pasco, WA.  While there, we toured several wineries in
the Walla Walla area.  Like Portland, it was a surprise to see how many quality wineries there are in that
area.   Walla Walla was once known only as the location of the state prison.  How times have changed.

From Pasco we drove to Mountain Home, ID, and then on to Springville, UT, for a couple days of rest.  The
next stop was Moab, UT, to visit Canyonlands and Arches National Parks.  Although Moab was not much to
see, these National Parks were really worth a visit.  Spectacular scenery to say the least.  From Moab it was
on to Gallup and then home to Las Cruces.  It was a wonderful trip!
